Welcome to my website! My name is Nash. I graduated Cum Laude in December 2019 from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where I studied Electrical Engineering. Given my undergraduate studies, I provide a unique point of view to any software engineering project. I'm motivated to develop software solutions for all types of problems, from simple to complex.

  • Containerized a Python web-scraping application that reports Prometheus metrics, orchestrated using docker-compose.
  • Developed a serverless Slack bot written in NodeJS to serve API calls.

Multi-architecture Kubernetes cluster
  • Installed a light-version of kubernetes, K3s, on both ARM (Raspberry Pi's) and x86 machines.
  • Containerized Python Flask app with multi-architecture support, exposed by Nginx ingress.
  • Deployed cert-manager for generating tls certificates for personal website.
  • Setup pihole deployment for high-availability, dns-level network ad blocking.

Senior Design Project

Cloud-Based Digital Audio Workstation
  • Lead a team of 4 students to build a cloud-based digital audio workstation.
  • Organized weekly meetings, code reviews, and individual weekly goals for team members.
  • Managed an AWS EC2 instance to implement system-level operations and host Docker containers.
  • Utilized Nginx to serve static files and serve as a reverse proxy to WSGI server.
  • Dynamic requests handled with Python Microframework, Flask.

Junior Design Project

Photovoltaic System Design & Implementation
  • Designed a photovoltaic array for a commercial rooftop system with both technical and economic considerations.
  • Developed a buck converter utilizing a DSP28335 microcontroller and accompanying power electronics.
  • Wrote a program in C to generate a PWM signal with appropriate deadband, frequency, and duty ratio.
